Yes. The assistant speaks plain language, no jargon, and explains every step. When it gets dangerous or too technical, it honestly tells you to call a professional.

How do I find someone who can fix it?

The assistant searches the Marine Guide for real businesses in your region and prepares a ready-to-send service request that you send yourself. You stay in control.

Do I have to track my boat's history myself?

No. Faults, maintenance and agreements land in your boat record. Next time the assistant knows what happened before, also handy when you ever sell the boat.

Does it work while I'm out on the water?

Yes, right on your phone, on shore or underway. In real danger always call 112 or the KNRM; the assistant is your first aid, not an emergency service.

Can I also sell or rent out my boat here?

Yes. List your boat for sale for €19 or for rent for €29, with a description written by AI. You can edit the price, dates and details anytime, withdraw a listing, or boost it with a featured placement for €19 a week or €49 a month.

What is Boat Show 365?

A boat show that never closes: 23 pavilions with 763 stands, from motor yachts and sailing yachts to engines, electronics, stores and winter storage. Browse brands and models, watch walkthrough videos, see exact-model broker listings, and exhibitors can claim their stand from €299 a month.

What can I find in the Marine Guide?

Real businesses for everything around your boat: dealers, brokers, marinas, winter storage, marine stores, electronics, engines, charter and more, in the Netherlands and Germany. Use the smart search or ask the assistant, and you get a ready-to-send service request.

What does the Academy offer?

Sailing and boating courses from verified providers, with a 25% discount on bundles. Alex also offers a private sailing and basic training package for €999. Course providers list their school for €29 a year.

Can AI design a new look for my boat?

Yes. Guests get one free trial design, members get four designs per month, and you can add four extra for €19. Upload a photo of your boat and the AI previews new colours and styles, always labelled as an AI preview.

What if I need help with my account or a payment?

Open Help in your workspace and chat with our AI support, like you would with a hosting provider. It solves most questions instantly; anything financial or unresolved goes straight to alex@boatownersplatform.com.

What does membership cost?

Boat owners pay €9 a month, renewing monthly with no rollover of unused AI designs. Marine Guide businesses pay €39 a year, Academy providers €29 a year, and exhibitors choose a Boat Show package from €299 a month.
