Questions owners ask
- How often should a boat engine be serviced?
- Follow the engine manufacturer's manual. Most give an interval in engine hours and a minimum of once a year. A local engine specialist can advise for your engine.
- Can I do maintenance myself?
- Many checks, like cleaning, inspecting lines and testing lights, are easy to do yourself. For gas, fuel and electrical systems it is safer to use a qualified company.
- How do I remember all maintenance dates?
- Add your boat and equipment to Boat Owners Platform. It reminds you when a service is due and keeps your service history in one place.
